“Celestial Longing”
A mountaineer that trudges and climbs farther away
One’s faithful heart does it the same each uncertain day
Like a wide-eyed traveler looking for the Northern lights
A lover who seeks to fly trusts all heights
When she dreams of a face
The handsome moon her hands would trace
As she remains attached to the window
Committed to a soul in their perennial rendezvous
Some nights are longer and feeble
That no clement sky is able
But when stars feel sick and die
Millions return to her eyes for another try
Reminiscent of hope that had opened a door
Its as if she kissed the sunrise after the dawn’s departure
Right at stake the world was fair
When she patiently waited and did see you there
-Yours truly
