Cold, Cold Hum

New poem of mine

Letters from Soul

Skies in pallid skin
Roads with mundane buzz
And your feet towards a fuzz
Accompanied by the weather
That summons December

You succumb to the languid touch
Passing and biting your soul
A fabric heart you can clutch
Until thoughts come in shreds

Frozen words buried in secrecy
Possess your head and torture it
Like the voice of the wind
A song that writes you a mystery
